Overview

Projects will explore what they are and how to best utilize them to manage and share your documents both internally and with external clients. See the below videos that will guide you through the different methods of creating and managing projects in StackDX.

Create Projects in StackDX

In StackDX, users will have the ability to create a project and then add in any Land Files and Assets (Wells, Facilities, Pipelines) to the project along with their associated documents. You can add individual land files and assets to the project or add multiple by using the search and criteria functions in StackDX.

See the below video to help you get started on creating your projects and adding in your land files and assets.

Create Projects from StackDX Maps

There is the ability to create a project using data directly from StackDX Maps. The user would search/filter the land or asset data in the StackDX Maps and then create a StackDX Project from the layers in StackDX Maps. This allows users to easily create projects and share the data with others.

See the below video to help you get started on creating your projects and adding in your land files and assets from StackDX Maps.

Create Projects via CS Land

If you use CS Land as your land management system and have created projects within CS Land there is ability for those projects to be created in StackDX. This will allow you to share the project with others, view all the related documents and export the documents.

See the below video that demonstrates how to sync the projects and view them in StackDX.

Create VDR/External Projects

In StackDX, you can create projects and share them with other company's and contacts. Once the project is created others can be invited to view the land files/assets and their associated documents.

See the below video that demonstrates setting up and sharing external projects in StackDX.

StackDX Corporate Layers

In StackDX Projects there will be 4 default corporate layers included (Wells, Surface, Contracts, Minerals). These will be updated nightly and be able to be viewed by the users if they have the appropriate permissions. These layers will be able to be viewed in StackDX Maps by clicking the link when viewing the corporate layers.

See the below video that demonstrates how to navigate to the corporate layers and view them in StackDX and StackDX Maps.
