View Assets & Documents

In StackDX you can view your assets information including the data in your Land System, Regulator and Accounting System. This guide will demonstrate how to navigate to the Assets Grid and view your assets data.

Navigate to the Assets Grid (Surface Location, Wells, Facilities, Pipeline Segments) by clicking the Assets dropdown menu at the top of the page. This will display all the Assets related modules/options. Then click any of the Asset Types to view its Assets Grid.

The assets (Surface Locations, Wells, Facilities, Pipeline Segments) information will be displayed on the Assets Grid.

Then to view the uploaded documents navigate to the Asset Docs Grid for a particular asset by clicking the document link in the ‘Related To’ column or enter the asset and go to the ‘Asset, Well, Facility or Segment Docs’ tab.

The asset documents can be viewed in either Folders or Files View.

The default asset document view is Folders View. If you choose a different option it will enable a heart icon. Clicking the heart option will set the view as the new default when entering an asset.

Note: This default only applies to the browser; the option will not be retained if you log in with a different browser (ie. Chrome, Edge, Firefox), incognito/private browser or clear browser history/cookies, etc.

Click on an asset and navigate to the ‘Details’ tab to view the assets data in the Land System (ie. CS Land, LandRite), Regulator and Accounting System (ie. Qbyte).

The Regulator data will be the data displayed in Stack Maps. If you would like to view the data in Stack Maps there are options to view the regulator data in Stack Maps via either the Stack Maps link when viewing the asset or in the embedded map.

Click the Stack Maps links to automatically open Stack Maps with the asset selected.

Embedded Map in StackDX

Click the ‘Map’ tab when viewing the asset. This will display the assets data as it would in Stack Maps but within the asset in StackDX. The currently viewed asset (Wells, Facilities, Pipelines) and any related land files are selected by default. You can also include all the assets in the surrounding area on the embedded map (ie. Wells, Facilities, Pipelines). Select the items to view and click Update.

If you click on an asset (Wells, Facilities or Pipeline) in the embedded map, it will display some basic information (ie. Well Status, Licensee, Spud Date, On Prod Date, etc.) with a link to view it in Stack Maps. See example below.
