Edit Surface Locations

If you are required to change any of the Surface Location information you can within StackDX. This guide will show you how to edit the surface location information and explain which information is able to be adjusted within StackDX.

The Surface Locations Edit option is available from the Surface Locations Grid or if you are viewing a surface location.

Navigate to Assets & Asset Docs Grid

Navigate to the Assets Grid (Surface Location, Wells, Facilities, Pipeline Segments) by clicking the Assets dropdown menu at the top of the page. This will display all the Assets related modules/options. Then click any of the Asset Types to view its Assets Grid.

Then to view the uploaded documents navigate to the Asset Docs Grid for a particular asset by clicking the document link in the ‘Related To’ column or enter the asset and go to the ‘Asset, Well, Facility or Segment Docs’ tab.

1. Click on the dropdown menu next to a surface location on the grid

1. Click the Edit option from the dropdown

1. Click the Edit option within the dropdown in the top right corner of the page

The Surface Locations Edit page will be displayed with all the available information. The information fields will either be enabled or disabled depending on if the user is able to edit them.
