Assets Grid Export

In StackDX, there are different exports you can perform from the Assets Grid (Wells, Facilities, Pipeline Segments). You can filter the assets in the grid and then export the asset information. This guide will show you how to export the asset information to excel from the Assets Grid.

Note: Users require the ‘Assets Read’ permissions to export asset information from the Assets grid.

To view the available Assets Grid Exports, click on the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the Assets Grid page.

Note: ‘Export Well Activity to Excel’ and ‘Export Doc Type Summary to Excel’ items are ONLY available for Wells. The ’Export to Excel’ item will be available for Wells, Facilities and Pipeline Segments assets. There are no export items from the Surface Locations grid.

Assets Grid Export options for Wells

Export Wells to Excel – The exported file will contain the well data that is displayed in StackDX.

Export Well Activity to Excel – The exported file will contain the well activity data that is displayed in the ‘Well Activity’ tab when viewing a well in StackDX.

Export Doc Type Summary to Excel – The exported file will contain the Well Document Type (ie. Daily Completion/Workover Report) counts for the selected wells.

Assets Grid Export option for Facilities and Pipeline Segments

Export to Excel – The exported file will contain the Facilities or Pipeline Segments data that is displayed in StackDX.

Tip: Use the search/filter left panel to narrow the selection and then select an export item from the dropdown. Only the filtered assets will be included in the exported file for all export options excluding ‘Export Well Activity to Excel’. The Well Activity export will export all the wells with ‘Well Activity’ data.

The files will be exported to a .xlsx file and will be available for download in the Job Manager option in the top right corner of StackDX site. A panel will display with all the jobs being performed.

Tip: The Job Manager will display a green icon when the job (ie. Export) has been completed.

Click on the File/Link and the .xlsx file will be immediately downloaded by your browser and placed in a folder (ie. Downloads Folder) for you to access.
