Manage Well Reviews, Well Status Changes & Contact Groups

There is the ability to manage your Well Reviews and Status changes using the 'Well Activity' tab when viewing a well in StackDX.

Well Reviews

If a well review needs to be performed this can be done by navigating to the 'Well Activity' tab when viewing a well in StackDX. There are options to enter your Recommendations, Pipeline and Surface Plans along with any relevant notes. All your well notes will be listed in the 'Well Activity' tab.

  1. Click the 'Well Activity' tab when viewing a well

  1. Click Add Well Note option to enter the details of your well review

  1. Click Save

You can notify others of the review/notes by entering the emails you would like to notify in the 'Contacts' section or by choosing a contact group if you have that set up in StackDX. See Contact Groups section for more details.

Well Status Changes

If a well status needs to be modified after a review has been completed this can be done by navigating to the 'Well Activity' tab when viewing a well in StackDX. From there you can initiate a well status change and notify others of the changes.

  1. Click the 'Well Activity' tab when viewing a well

  1. Click Initiate Status Change option to enter the details of your well status change

  1. Click Save

You can notify others of the status change by entering the emails you would like to notify in the 'Contacts' section or by choosing a contact group if you have that set up in StackDX. See Contact Groups section for more details.

Contact Groups

When notifying users of your Well Reviews and Well Status Changes you can either enter individual user emails or choose Contact Groups to notify. The ability to create Contact Groups is a company setting and if enabled will appear under the Admin dropdown in StackDX.

Note: If the option is enabled for your company Contact Groups can be created by any user with Client Admin permissions. If this is not enabled for your company and you would like more information on adding it please contact [email protected].

Create Contact Groups

  1. In the Admin dropdown select Contact Groups option

  1. Click Upload from Excel

  1. Click Choose File and browse to your .xlsx file containing the Group Name(s) and Contact Email(s)

Note: The uploaded template must be an .xlsx file containing the Group Name in column A and Contact Email Address in column B.

In the 'Upload From Excel' dialog you can download an example template file that can be used to add your groups and contact emails. Click the Download Sample Template option to download the excel template for reference.

  1. Click Import

The group(s) and their corresponding members will be displayed on the grid.

The created Contact Groups will then appear in the dropdown when selecting the contacts for your Well Activity and Well Status Changes notifications.

Update Contact Groups

In order to update the current uploaded contact groups and emails you will need to upload a new version of the contact groups and emails with the changes. The existing contact groups and emails will be replaced by the new uploaded .xlsx file.

When viewing the created contact groups click the Download to Excel option to export the current contact groups and emails to excel allowing the user to then easily update the information without re-creating the entire file.

  1. In the Admin dropdown select Contact Groups option

  1. Click Download To Excel

The file will be exported to a .xlsx file and will be available for download in the Job Manager option in the top right corner of StackDX site. A panel will display with all the jobs being performed.

Tip: The Job Manager will display a green icon when the job (ie. Export) has been completed.

Click on the File/Link and the .xlsx file will be immediately downloaded by your browser and placed in a folder (ie. Downloads Folder) for you to access.

After you have the downloaded .xlsx file you can then update the information and re-upload the file.
