Restore Wells
If you have wells that have been previously deleted from StackDX and you would like them to be displayed again they can be restored. This guide will show you how to restore the wells.
Note: Users require the ‘Wells & Locations Admin’ permissions to restore wells.
To display any soft deleted wells on the Wells Grid, click on the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the Wells Grid page. Then click Show Deleted Items to display the deleted wells on the grid.
The Well Restore option is available from the Wells Grid or if you are viewing a well.
Navigate to Assets & Asset Docs Grid
Navigate to the Assets Grid (Surface Location, Wells, Facilities, Pipeline Segments) by clicking the Assets dropdown menu at the top of the page. This will display all the Assets related modules/options. Then click any of the Asset Types to view its Assets Grid.
Then to view the uploaded documents navigate to the Asset Docs Grid for a particular asset by clicking the document link in the ‘Related To’ column or enter the asset and go to the ‘Asset, Well, Facility or Segment Docs’ tab.
Restore from the Wells Grid
Click on the dropdown menu next to the well you want to be restored
Click the Restore option from the dropdown
Click Restore
Restore from Wells View
Click on the well you want to be restored
Click the Restore Well option within the dropdown in the top right corner of the page
Click Restore
The well will be restored in StackDX and be displayed in the Wells Grid. If the well had previously contained any deleted documents, they will NOT be restored with the well. The user will have to go into the well and restore those documents separately.
