Pinned Documents
There is the ability to pin important documents to the top of the Asset Docs Grid allowing the user to quickly find and identify key documents within an asset. This guide will show you how to use these options.
Note: Users require the ‘Wells/Locations Write’ or ‘Facilities/Pipelines Write’ permissions to pin asset documents.
Pinning Document
Pinning an asset document can be performed from both the Asset Docs Grid and when viewing the document.
Navigate to Assets & Asset Docs Grid
Navigate to the Assets Grid (Surface Location, Wells, Facilities, Pipeline Segments) by clicking the Assets dropdown menu at the top of the page. This will display all the Assets related modules/options. Then click any of the Asset Types to view its Assets Grid.

Then to view the uploaded documents navigate to the Asset Docs Grid for a particular asset by clicking the document link in the ‘Related To’ column or enter the asset and go to the ‘Asset, Well, Facility or Segment Docs’ tab.

Once the documents have been pinned, they will appear at the top of the Asset Docs Grid by default with an icon next to the file name after refreshing the page.

Unpinning Documents
Similarly, if there are documents that have previously been pinned that you would like to remove the pin from that can be done by following the same steps as for pinning the documents from either the Asset Docs Grid or when viewing the document but instead choose the unpin option. Click the Unpin option from the dropdown menu to remove the pin setting.

Tip: The user can search/filter the asset documents by pinned status (Not Pinned, Pinned). This can be done in the Search Asset Docs option.
