Assets Search/Filter

For each asset type (Surface Locations, Wells, Facilities, Pipeline Segments) there are search/filter fields that will help in finding the assets you are looking for. This guide will show all the different search/filter options for assets and how to navigate to them.

The Asset Search/Filter panel will be displayed for each asset type on the left side of the Assets Grid. See a summary of the search/filter options for each asset type below.

Surface Location Search/Filters

The Surface Location Search/Filter panel has the below options:

  1. Location – Enter Surface Location text (ie. 01-01-001-01W1), DLS location (LSD, Section, Township, Range) or NTS location (¼, Unit, Block, Series)

  1. Note – Notes can be added by users with Wells & Location role when creating or editing a surface location

  1. Pad – Enter full or partial Pad Name or #

  2. Folder Status options – Either choose All Locations, Has Folders or Has Location Folders

The ‘Has Folders’ option is chosen by default. If you choose a different option it will display a heart icon next to the item. Clicking the heart option will set the item as the new default for the search field.

Note: This default only applies to the browser; the option will not be retained if you log in with a different browser (ie. Chrome, Edge, Firefox), incognito/private browser or clear browser history/cookies, etc.

Wells Search/Filters

The Wells Search/Filter panel has the below options:

  1. UWI or Location – Enter UWI or Location in either DLS or NTS format

There is an option for either Bottom or Surface Location. Bottom is chosen by default. If you choose a different option it will display a heart icon next to the item. Clicking the heart option will set the item as the new default for the search field.

Note: This default only applies to the browser; the option will not be retained if you log in with a different browser (ie. Chrome, Edge, Firefox), incognito/private browser or clear browser history/cookies, etc.

  1. Well Details Search – Select different well data items to search/filter by.

The available items are Licence #, File #, Internal Asset Code, Internal Pad Code, Operator, Licensee, Cost Centre, Spud Date (From/To) and Section/Township/Range. Licence # is chosen by default.

  1. Well Name – Enter full or partial Well Name

  2. Area – Enter full or partial Area Name (ie. REDWATER)

  3. Prov/State - Select a Province (ie. Alberta) or State (ie. Texas) from the list of items

  4. Well Statuses – Select a Well Status (ie. Active/Producing) from the list of items

  5. Asset Status – Select Asset Status (All, Active or Inactive)

Active is chosen by default. If you choose a different option it will display a heart icon next to the item. Clicking the heart option will set the item as the new default for the search field.

Note: This default only applies to the browser; the option will not be retained if you log in with a different browser (ie. Chrome, Edge, Firefox), incognito/private browser or clear browser history/cookies, etc.

  1. Well Docs Only – Select to only include wells that have well documents

Facilities Search/Filters

The Facilities Search/Filter panel has the below options:

  1. Facility ID – Enter full or partial Facility ID

  2. Facility Details Search – Select different facility data items to search/filter by.

The available items are Licence #, Operator, Licensee, Internal Asset Code and Internal Pas Code. Licence # is chosen by default.

  1. Facility Name – Enter full or partial Facility Name

  2. Facility Type – Enter full or partial Facility Type (ie. Battery)

  3. Location – Enter full or partial Facility Location (ie. 15-36-043-04W5)

  4. Prov/State - Select a Province (ie. Alberta) or State (ie. Texas) from the list of items

  5. File # – Enter full or partial File #

  6. Asset Status – Select Asset Status (All, Active or Inactive)

Active is chosen by default. If you choose a different option it will display a heart icon next to the item. Clicking the heart option will set the item as the new default for the search field.

Pipeline Segments Search/Filters

The Pipeline Segments Search/Filter panel has the below options:

  1. Licence # / Line # – Enter full or partial Licence # and/or Line #

  2. Location – Enter full or partial Pipeline Segment From/To Location (ie.15-23-007-11W2)

  3. Prov/State - Select a Province (ie. Alberta) or State (ie. Texas) from the list of items

  4. Pipeline Name – Enter full or partial Pipeline Name

  5. File # – Enter full or partial File #

  6. Asset Status – Select Asset Status (All, Active or Inactive)

Active is chosen by default. If you choose a different option it will display a heart icon next to the item. Clicking the heart option will set the item as the new default for the search field.
