Upload Individual Documents
This section will guide you through uploading individual documents to Assets (Location, Wells, Facilities, Pipeline Segments) into StackDX and provide information on features while uploading documents.
Upload Documents
There are file types that cannot be uploaded into StackDX. The excluded file extensions are: .bat, .cmd, .dll, .exe, .msi, .ps1, .reg, .vbs.
In the Asset Docs Grid (either Folders or Files View) click Upload Documents

Choose a Folder location to upload the document

Either Click Choose Files and browse to your documents OR drag your documents to the Or Drop file(s) here box

Click Upload
Once the document has been processed it will be assigned a category and the status will be Complete.
Upload Duplicate Documents
StackDX will analyze the document contents when processing and in some cases, it may be an exact duplicate of another document already present in StackDX. The documents will still be deemed a duplicate even if the file name is different since the contents match.
In these situations, the file name may change (updated to the file name of the newest uploaded document) but the Added Date, Document or Path Created Dates will not be adjusted.
Upload to Wells with Multiple Events
For Well Assets when uploading to a UWI that has multiple events under the licence # the documents will be uploaded to ALL UWIs under that Licence #.
Example: Uploading documents to 100/01/02-045-01W5/00 will also upload to /02 and /03 events

Other Upload Features
When uploading there are some features you may want to utlize depending on your objective.
Add to Additional Wells, Locations or Pipelines
Enable this option to add the documents to other wells, locations or pipelines when uploading. You can add assets individually by searching for UWIs, Licence #s, Facility ID, Facility/Pipeline Name, Locations, etc. or add multiple in a list.
