User Roles

In StackDX you can assign different user roles to individuals depending on their needs. Each user role will have different access/permissions to certain features and functions within StackDX. This section will guide you through a summary of the available Land User Roles in StackDX and their associated actions they can perform.

Land Read

Apply this role if the user is only required to view, share, download and export land files and documents.

  • View/Search land files and documents

  • Download land documents

  • Export land file lists to Excel

  • Export land document lists to Excel

  • Share land documents via email either to internal users or external third party users

  • View Accessible Projects

  • Export Projects to Excel

  • View Land via StackDX Maps

Land Write

Apply this role if the user is required to perform fundamental tasks (Upload, Edit, Modify, etc.) for land files and documents.

  • All Land Read role actions

  • Upload Land Documents

  • Move/Copy/Merge/Delete/Restore Land Documents

  • Edit Document Information (Category, Title, Document Type, Doc Date, File Name)

  • Add Land Folder Tags

  • Create file specific Land Folder Tags

  • Set Document as ‘Mark As Reviewed’

  • Create Land Files

  • Merge Land Files

  • Edit Land Files not in Land/Source System

  • Delete Land Files not in Land/Source System

  • Access to Microsoft Office 365 Editor

  • Access to PDF Editor

  • Access to PDF Splitter

  • Create/Assign Internal Projects with ‘Contacts Only’ access

  • Add/Modify Land Files in Owned/Accessible Projects

  • Access to view and refresh Project Criteria settings

Land Admin

Apply this role if the user is required to perform administrative system tasks for land files and documents.

  • All Land Read & Write role actions

  • Add/Edit Global Land Folder Tags

  • Generate Admin Reports

  • Stack Mapping for Land

  • Create/Assign Internal Projects with ‘Land Read’ or ‘Land Write’ users access

  • Grant External Access/Create Invites to Projects

  • Add Internal Users to Projects

  • Modify Project Criteria settings

  • Set Projects as Active/Inactive

Client Admin

Apply this role if the users’ needs are focused on administrative user management of your StackDX site.

  • Edit User information (Name, Phone #, Land User ID, Accounting User ID)

  • Assign/Update User Roles

  • Set users as Active/Inactive

  • View users Land/Asset Search and Notification Preferences

  • Create Invites to new users
