Sort & Manage Land Docs Grid

The Land Docs Grid display can be adjusted according to your viewing preferences. There is the ability to sort by, adjust, move and hide columns.

This guide will describe how to utilize the available grid options which will allow you to view the documents in a format that you prefer and help you find the information you are looking for quicker and more efficiently.

Hover over the column headers to display the available options. Clicking the blue icon for a column will open a dropdown menu where you can reset sorting, widths and manage your columns.

Summary of the options available are below:

  1. Sort by a column in Ascending (up arrow) or Descending (down arrow) order

Click the Ascending (up arrow) or Descending (down arrow). To remove the sorting click the selected arrow (will display in blue) or click Reset Sorting.

Ascending Order

  • For the File Name, Category, Title, Status columns will order the documents by special characters, numbers 0-10 then letter A-Z

  • For Doc Date and Added columns will order by Oldest – Newest Date

Descending Order

  • For the File Name, Category, Title, Status columns will order the documents by letter Z-A, numbers 10-0, special characters

  • For Doc Date and Added columns will order by Newest – Oldest Date

  1. Adjust Column Widths

When hovering the column divider (will display as blue) click and drag the column divider to the desired column widths.

Note: Title column will wrap the text to display the entire title when reducing the width.

  1. Change Column Order

The column order can be adjusted by clicking and dragging the column header directly from the grid OR column name in Manage Columns > Settings panel.

  1. Hide column from the grid display

Click the blue icon and select Hide Column from the menu dropdown. This will remove the column from the grid. When a column is hidden there will be a yellow icon at the bottom of the grid that displays the number of hidden columns.

If the user would like to restore the hidden column either click the yellow icon or click on Manage Columns to open the Manage Columns > Settings panel where you can select/deselect columns.

  1. Reset Sorting and Widths

Reset Sorting:

Click Reset Sorting on a column header to set the column sorting to default. The default sort setting for Land grid will be Head Agreement and Pinned documents at the top then Descending by Doc Date.

Reset Width/All Widths:

Click Reset Width for a column to set the column width to default or Reset All Widths to set all column widths to default.

  1. Manage Columns

Click the Manage Columns option to display the Settings panel. The columns can be either included in the grid or not by selecting/deselecting the columns. The order of the columns can also be changed by clicking and dragging on the column name.

If you would like to set the column order to default click the Reset Column Order option. The default column order for Lands grid is Category/File Name, Title, Doc Date, Status then Added.

Note: This grid column options will only apply to the current browser. The options will not be retained if you log with a different browser (ie. Chrome, Edge, Firefox), incognito/private browser or clear browser history/cookies, etc.
