Restore Documents
If you have documents that have been previously deleted from an asset, and you like them to be displayed again, the documents can be restored. This guide will include how to restore both single and multiple documents.
Note: Users require the ‘Wells/Locations Write’ or ‘Facilities/Pipelines Write’ permissions to restore asset documents.
To restore the document, you will have to first navigate to the deleted document. To view the deleted document, select the Show Deleted option in the search/filter panel. See Asset Docs Search/Filter section for more details.

Restoring Single Documents
Restoring a document can be performed from both the Asset Docs Grid and when viewing the document.
Navigate to Assets & Asset Docs Grid
Navigate to the Assets Grid (Surface Location, Wells, Facilities, Pipeline Segments) by clicking the Assets dropdown menu at the top of the page. This will display all the Assets related modules/options. Then click any of the Asset Types to view its Assets Grid.

Then to view the uploaded documents navigate to the Asset Docs Grid for a particular asset by clicking the document link in the ‘Related To’ column or enter the asset and go to the ‘Asset, Well, Facility or Segment Docs’ tab.


Either from the Asset Docs Grid or Document View click the dropdown menu

Restoring Multiple Documents:
Restoring multiple documents can be performed from the Asset Docs Grid.
Navigate to Assets & Asset Docs Grid
Navigate to the Assets Grid (Surface Location, Wells, Facilities, Pipeline Segments) by clicking the Assets dropdown menu at the top of the page. This will display all the Assets related modules/options. Then click any of the Asset Types to view its Assets Grid.

Then to view the uploaded documents navigate to the Asset Docs Grid for a particular asset by clicking the document link in the ‘Related To’ column or enter the asset and go to the ‘Asset, Well, Facility or Segment Docs’ tab.


From the Asset Docs Grid select the document(s)

Click Modify > Restore

Click Restore

The document(s) will be displayed in the Asset Docs Grid. The date/time in the Added column will be updated to when the document(s) were restored. There will be an information icon added with a tool tip when hovering the column for restored documents. See example below:
