Create Facilities
StackDX synchronizes nightly with your land management system (ie. CS Land, LandRite) and regulatory databases to create and update facility information. In some cases you may need to upload documents to StackDX before the facility record is present. For these situations, you can manually create the facility in StackDX. Once the facility has been added to your land system or registered with the regulator, the next sync will automatically link any matching facilities. This guide will show you how to create new facilities in StackDX.
Note: Users require the ‘Facilities & Pipelines Admin’ permissions to create new facilities.
Navigate to Assets & Asset Docs Grid
Navigate to the Assets Grid (Surface Location, Wells, Facilities, Pipeline Segments) by clicking the Assets dropdown menu at the top of the page. This will display all the Assets related modules/options. Then click any of the Asset Types to view its Assets Grid.

Then to view the uploaded documents navigate to the Asset Docs Grid for a particular asset by clicking the document link in the ‘Related To’ column or enter the asset and go to the ‘Asset, Well, Facility or Segment Docs’ tab.


Click the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the Facilities Grid page
Click Create New

Search and select a Facility by entering either a Facility Location, Facility ID, Facility Name or Licence #. Matching search results will display as the input is entered.
Note: Only Facilities that exist in the regulator data can be added into StackDX.


After selecting a Facility the available regulator data will be displayed.

Click Save
The selected Facility will display in the Facilities Grid.
