Delete Facilities

If you are required to remove facilities that can be done in StackDX. The user can ONLY delete facilities that do not exist in the land/source system. This guide will show you how to delete the facilities.

The Facilities Delete option is available from the Facilities Grid or if you are viewing a facility.

Navigate to Assets & Asset Docs Grid

Navigate to the Assets Grid (Surface Location, Wells, Facilities, Pipeline Segments) by clicking the Assets dropdown menu at the top of the page. This will display all the Assets related modules/options. Then click any of the Asset Types to view its Assets Grid.

Then to view the uploaded documents navigate to the Asset Docs Grid for a particular asset by clicking the document link in the ‘Related To’ column or enter the asset and go to the ‘Asset, Well, Facility or Segment Docs’ tab.

Delete from the Facilities Grid

1. Click on the dropdown menu next to the facility you want to be deleted

1. Click on the facility you want to be deleted

1. Click the Delete option within the dropdown in the top right corner of the page

1. Click Delete

The facility and any documents it contained will be removed from StackDX and not be displayed in the Facilities Grid by default. The deleted facility and documents are only soft deleted and can be viewed and restored if needed. See Restore Facilities section for more details.

To display any soft deleted facilities on the Facilities Grid, click on the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the Facilities Grid page. Then click Show Deleted Items to display the deleted facilities on the grid.
