Delete Land Files
If you are required to remove land files that can be done in StackDX. The user can ONLY delete land files that do not exist in the land system. This guide will show you how to delete the land files.
Note: Users require the ‘Land Write’ permissions to delete land files.
The Land File Delete option is available from the Land Files Grid or if you are viewing a land file.
Navigate to Land Files & Land Docs Grid
Navigate to the Land Files Grid by clicking the Land dropdown menu at the top of the page. This will display all the land related modules/options. Then click the Land Files option to view the Land Files Grid.

Then to view the uploaded documents navigate to the Land Docs Grid for a particular land file by clicking the document link in the ‘Related To’ column or enter the land file and go to the ‘Documents’ tab.


Delete from the Land Files Grid
Click on the dropdown menu next to the land file you want to be deleted

Click the Delete option from the dropdown

Click Delete

Delete from Land File View
Click on the Land File you want to be deleted

Click on the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the Land File page

Click Delete

Click Delete

Note: If the user tries to delete a land file that exist in the land system they will be prevented from deleting the file and see the below message.

The land file and any documents it contained will be removed from StackDX and not be displayed in the Land Files Grid by default. The deleted land file and documents are only soft deleted and can be viewed and restored if needed. See Restore Land Files section for more details.
To display any soft deleted land files on the Land Files Grid, click on the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the Land Files grid page. Then click Show Deleted Items to display the deleted land files on the grid.
