Merge Land Files
In situations when you are needing to merge land files (ie. Acquired new land file documents and need to merge file numbers) that can be done in StackDX. The user can merge land files that both exist or do not exist in the land file system. This guide will show you how to merge the land files.
The Land File Merge option is available from the Land Files Grid or if you are viewing a land file.
Edit from the Land Files Grid
Click on the dropdown menu next to the land file you want to be merged

Click the Merge option from the dropdown

Edit from Land File View
Click on the Land File you want to be merged

Click on the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the Land File page

Click Merge

Then the Land Files Merge page will be displayed where you will enter the New/Winning Land File. This will be the land file that you will be merging into and be kept in StackDX.

After clicking Merge, the documents in the Current/Losing File will be uploaded to the New/Winning Land File. Any deleted documents from the Current/Losing File will be moved as well and remain deleted in the new land file.

The Current/Losing File will be soft deleted from StackDX and not be displayed in the Land Files Grid by default.
To display any soft deleted land files on the Land Files Grid, click on the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the Land Files Grid page. Then click Show Deleted Items to display the deleted land files on the grid.
