Land Docs Search/Filter

In Land there are search/filter fields that will help in finding the land documents you are looking for. This guide will show all the different search/filter options for land documents and how to navigate to them.

When viewing the 'Documents' tab in a land file the search/filter panel will display allowing the ability for the user to identify the documents they are looking for within the land file. Choose from the available options and click Search to filter the Land Docs Grid by the criteria.

The below search/filter options are available for all land file types:

  1. Title or File Name – Enter full or partial Title or File Name

  2. Categories – Select to only include documents with the chosen categories. All the categories are chosen by default. If you select/deselect a category it will display a heart icon. Clicking the heart option will set the selected items as the new default for the searched categories.

Note: The categories default will be displayed and can be adjusted under your Account settings in the dropdown menu in the top right corner of the site.

  1. Uploaded By – Select either Any Internal (users at your company) or Any External (users outside of your company)

  1. Doc Types – Select to only include documents with the chosen document types

  2. Folder Tags – Select to include documents with a specific folder tag or no folder tag

  1. Land Document Status – Select Land Document Status (All, Active or Inactive)

Active is chosen by default. If you choose a different option it will display a heart icon next to the item. Clicking the heart option will set the item as the new default for the search field.

Note: This default only applies to the browser; the option will not be retained if you log in with a different browser (ie. Chrome, Edge, Firefox), incognito/private browser or clear browser history/cookies, etc.

  1. Doc Date – Enter From/To Document Date ranges

  2. Added Date – Enter From/To Added Date ranges

  3. Has Historical Docs – Select to only include documents that have version history

  4. Exists in Other Land Files – Select to only include documents that exist in multiple land files

  5. Show Deleted – Select to display the deleted documents
