Mark as Active/Inactive
If you have land documents in StackDX that are no longer current or active there is the ability to set the document as either Active or Inactive. Using the Mark as Active/Inactive option will allow you to recognize these documents more easily and allows the user to use this status to further filter documents as needed. This guide will show you how to utilize this feature.
Note: Users require the ‘Land Write’ permissions to set land documents as Active or Inactive.
Marking a land document as Active or Inactive can be set for single or multiple documents at once.
Setting single document as Active/Inactive
Marking a single land document as Active or Inactive can be performed from both the Land Docs Grid and in the ‘Notes’ tab when viewing the document.
Navigate to Land Files & Land Docs Grid
Navigate to the Land Files Grid by clicking the Land dropdown menu at the top of the page. This will display all the land related modules/options. Then click the Land Files option to view the Land Files Grid.

Then to view the uploaded documents navigate to the Land Docs Grid for a particular land file by clicking the document link in the ‘Related To’ column or enter the land file and go to the ‘Documents’ tab.

From the Land Docs Grid
In the Land Docs Grid click the dropdown menu next to a document

Click Mark as Active or Inactive (depending on the current document status)

From the ‘Notes’ tab when viewing the document
Click to view the land document you would like to set as Active or Inactive

Go to the ‘Notes’ tab

Select or Deselect the Mark as Inactive option and click Save

Note: Users can add text (maximum limit of 2000 characters) in the ‘Notes’ tab for both Land and Asset Documents. A note is not required when setting land document as active or inactive.
Setting multiple documents as Active/Inactive
Marking multiple land documents as Active or Inactive can be performed from the Land Docs Grid.

From the Land Docs Grid select the document(s)

Click Modify > Mark as Active or Inactive

All the selected documents will be set as either Active or Inactive. If the document status already was set as the chosen option, it will be unchanged (ie. Document Status is already inactive and user selects that document to be set as inactive).
Once the documents have been set as active or inactive, in the Land Docs Grid there will either be no icon for active documents or a ‘red dot’ icon next to the category for an inactive document.

Tip: The user can filter the documents by Land Document Status. In the Land Document Search/Filter panel you can select Land Document Status (All, Active or Inactive). Active is chosen by default.

If you choose a different option, it will display a heart icon next to the item. Clicking the heart option will set the item as the new default for the search field.

Note: This default only applies to the browser; the option will not be retained if you log in with a different browser (ie. Chrome, Edge, Firefox), incognito/private browser or clear browser history/cookies, etc.
See Land Docs Search/Filter section for more details.
