Upload Individual Documents
This section will guide you through uploading individual documents to Land Files into StackDX and provide information on features available while uploading documents.
Upload Documents
There are file types that cannot be uploaded into StackDX. The excluded file extensions are: .bat, .cmd, .dll, .exe, .msi, .ps1, .reg, .vbs.
In the Land Docs Grid click Upload Documents

Either click Choose Files and browse to your documents OR drag your documents to the Or drop file(s) here box

If you selected the incorrect files and do not want to upload it click Discard.

Click Upload
Once the document has been processed it will be assigned a category and the status will be Complete.
Upload Duplicate Documents
StackDX will analyze the document contents when processing and in some cases, it may be an exact duplicate of another document already present in StackDX. The documents will still be deemed a duplicate even if the file name is different since the contents match.
In these situations, the file name may change (updated to the file name of the newest uploaded document) but the Added Date, Document or Path Created Dates will NOT be adjusted.
Other Upload Features
When uploading there are some features you may want to utilize depending on your objective.
Land Folder Tags
When uploading Land Documents, you can apply a Folder Tag, which are labels that can be utilized to group the documents based on certain criteria (i.e. specific land package or licensing package). Documents can be filtered/searched based on the applied Land Folder Tags, allowing you to easily find those documents.

See Land Folder Tags for more details.
Add to Additional Land Files
Enable this option to add the documents to other land files when uploading. You can add land files individually by searching for land files, selecting related land files or add multiple land files in a list.

Unzip Upon Upload
This option will be enabled by default and will unzip and process the documents upon upload. If you have this option disabled, it will upload the ZIP file and will not be processed by our system.

Extract Email Attachments
This option will be display if you choose to upload an email file. Enabling this option will extract any of the attachments within the email and upload as their own documents.
