Master Agreements
The Master Agreement page contains all Master Agreements for your company. To navigate to this page choose ‘Master Agreements’ from the Roads & Thirds module drop-down.

How to Search For a Master Agreement?
Specific Master Agreements can be searched for using the following tools:

Text Search 'Search Agreements':
The text search field can be used to search for a specific aggreement. It will apply a partial search using any text typed into this field to look up related File #s, Grantee name, or Requestor name, Previous File Number, etc. To search for an agreements type in the text you wish to search by and click ‘search’.
Agreement Type:
This drop-down is used to filter by Thirds or Roads agreements. To use this filter, click the drop-down, select your desired type of agreement, and hit ‘Search’.
Agreement Status:
This dropdown can be used to filter based on agreement status. (Active, Inactive, Requested, Etc)
How to Create a New Master Agreement?
New requests for Grantees without an existing Master Agreement will automatically appear when entered through the request portal. These agreements will have a status of ‘Requested’.
A new Agreement can also be created manually by clicking the hamburger menu in the upper right-hand corner and choosing the appropriate agreement type. Input the required information and press ‘Save’.

Navigating to a Specific Agreement:
Click the blue hyperlink of the File # for the agreement you wish to enter.

How to Edit a Master Agreement?
Click the hamburger menu in the upper right-hand corner of a Master Agreement and click ‘Edit’. Changing fields such as the address, Grantee Name, and Contact Information will also edit how they appear on the external access portal. You must click save after making any edits for the chnages to be kept.

How to Hide A Master Agreement From the Request Portal?
If there are active Master Agreements that you still wish to bill on, but do not want requestors making requests against (Legacy Agreements), you can hide these agreements from the request portal.
In the edit screen of a Master Agreement select ‘Hidden From Public’ and then hit Save.

Required Documents Section:
Documents can be loaded for a Master Agreement in this section. To Load a document, click ‘Choose file’ or drag and drop a file into the ‘Or drop file here’ field. Then click 'Upload, Sync, Activate'.

How to Generate a Master Agreement for Signature?
If your company has the e-signature capability enabled, you will be able to generate an agreement and send it for signature entirely within Stack. The requestor/grantee will also be able to sign and return the agreement to you within Stack. Please Note: If your company is using standalone agreements, you will not have an option to send master agreements out for signature.
To generate the agreement: Click ‘Generate Agreement’ beside the template you wish to generate from.

Once generated, you can download the agreement within Stack by clicking on the download button for the target file.

To Send the Agreement for Signature click on the ‘Request Signature’ button.

This will produce a screen pre-populated with the requestor’s information. You can edit any of the information and add a comment. Once you click ‘Create Signature Request’ the recipient email address will receive a notification email and instructions to sign the agreement.
How to cancel a Signature Request?
If you send a request out and need to cancel it, you can do this by clicking on the 'View Request' button and hitting 'Cancel on the bottom left of the screen. Please note, you must cancel the request before the requestor signs their copy.


After the Requestor Signs:
If it is your companies policy to send these requests pre-signed, then after the requestor signs their copy this agreement will be executed and the status will be automatically chnaged to 'Active.
However, If your company process is to sign the agreement upon receipt of the grantee’s signature, the ‘View Request’ screen is also where you can add your signature and information. Note: required fields vary based on company depending on business requirements. Pressing ‘Execute’ will finalize the agreement and the document will be automatically filed in your Stack Land Grid under the respective Master Agreement number.

Manual Download and Upload:
This method may be used if your company does not have e-signature enabled, if you receive a signed agreement over email, if you need to make a one-off change to the template, etc.
There is the option to download a Word or PDF version of the Agreement document by clicking ‘as .docx’ or ‘as .pdf’ beside your target template. Note: This method does not allow for e-signing, only the ‘Generate Agreement’ option allows for e-signing the document within Stack.

Clicking either of these download links will initiate a ‘Job’ to download the document. Once complete you can visit your ‘Job Manager’ and click on the target file to download it to your downloads folder on your computer.

If needed, you can then send the document to the requestor via email to obtain a signature and use a pdf signing tool to add your own signature. Once the agreement is complete, you can upload it to the Required Document(s) field by clicking ‘Choose File’ or drag and dropping it into the ‘Or drop file here’ space. Then click 'Upload, Sync, Activate'.
